Restarts

Every server restarts at 12 AM Eastern and every 4 hours after. Anything you do in the 5 minutes before a restart is at your own risk.

Wipes

Every 3 to 4 months, usually near the start of a season. DayZ patches can shift the timing, and dates are announced in Discord.

Raid protection

No bases or stashes may be raided for the first two weeks after a wipe, so everyone gets time to settle in.

  3. Get the modsIs Dead is PC only and modded. Most players use DZSA Launcher, which downloads the mods when you join, but any launcher works.
